We created the Flicker to achieve maximum comfort and versatility without compromising on weight. Unzipped, it functions as a large quilt on warmer nights and is wide enough to cover two adults in a pinch. The footbox can be cinched tight and partially zipped for greater efficiency on cooler nights. At the bottom end of the temperature rating, the Flicker functions as a full center-zip mummy sleeping bag. With 950+ fill power down and ultralight Pertex® Endurance® fabric, the Flicker series is ideally suited for those chilly summer nights in the alpine or on a thru-hike.
Available in 20 Degree, 30 Degree, and 40 Degree options.

I've had this bag (Flicker UL 20 Quilt Sleeping Bag, Azure, Long) for 7 years now and love just about everything about it, except for the horizontal baffles. I use mine as a comforter/quilt while camping, not a zipped-up bag, and for this reason I'm frustrated. Before I go to sleep I fluff it up and shake it to even distribute the feathers, but inevitably, by the middle of the night, the feathers have drifted from the center of their baffles above me to the sides and I wake up cold. I don't quite understand why a bag intended to be used as a quit would be designed this way with single-tube, horizontal baffles, rather than with quilted squares or zig-zagging baffles designed to keep the feathers in place or evenly spread throughout the bag. I'd by another one in a heartbeat if that issue were resolved.

I bought the Flicker UL Quilt Sleeping Bag and I am happy with my purchase. It is a versatile and lightweight sleeping bag that can be used as a quilt or a hoodless mummy bag depending on the temperature and preference . It has a high-quality 950-plus fill goose down that is RDS-certified and provides excellent warmth and loft . It also has a durable and water-resistant Pertex Endurance UL fabric that protects the down from moisture . It has a full-length zipper and a drawstring footbox that allow it to be adjusted for different sleeping positions and ventilation options . It also has a neck collar and a snap closure that help seal in the warmth when needed . The extra long size is good for me, because it does not have a hood and I need more coverage. The only downside is that it is very expensive, especially with GST and import duties. It also seems a bit narrower than the specs, compared to my old sleeping bag. I have not tested it in the field yet, but I hope it will keep me warm and comfortable. The Flicker UL Quilt Sleeping Bag is available in different sizes, temperatures, and colors to suit different preferences and needs . It also comes with a stuff sack and a storage bag for easy packing and storage. I think it is one of the top rated products because of its quality, versatility, and performance.

i love my new ul bag! It packs down super light, and the option to use it as a quilt rather than as a bag is lovely for warm summer nights. my partner also got one, and we love that we can zip them together into one extra-large bag for both of us. such a clever design :)
