Noragami is a manga written and drawn by the mangaka duo Adachitoka. It has been published since December 2010 in Monthly Shōnen Magazine and compiled into 24 volumes (plus 2 specials) as of the time of writing this article. An anime television series adaptation produced by studio Bones aired between January and March 2014. A second season, Noragami Aragotoaired between October and December 2015. Noragami is still ongoing. This applies to both the manga and the anime. The manga is approaching it’s anniversary Chapter 100, and there doesn’t seem to be any news related to the manga being finished. Is the Noragami manga finished? When will it be finished?

The Noragami manga series was written by Adachitoka and published by Kodansha. The series premiered in Shōnen Magazine’s January 2011 issue, which was released on December 6, 2010. Since July 15, 2011 it has been compiled into 24 volumes (as of June 2022).

The ninth and tenth volumes were released concurrently with a limited edition that came with a DVD containing an additional anime episode. Also the eleventh volume from July 17, 2014 contained in its limited edition a second anime episode on DVD.

Extra chapters of the manga series have been appearing as a spin-off in Monthly Shōnen Magazine+ since 2011. On November 15, 2013 they were combined in an anthology as Noragami Shūishū (ノラガミ拾遺集).

The manga was paused for 18 volumes due to illness. As previously announced by Kodansha, the manga continued its publication on June 6, 2018.

Is the Noragami anime finished?

Noragami was adapted in early 2014 into a twelve-episode animated series directed by Bones. The first episode premiered in November 2013 in Singapore during Anime Festival Asia. The series then aired on Japanese television from January 5, 2014 to March 23, 2014 on Tokyo MX and then on MSB, BS11 and TVA.

A second season was announced in March 2015. Entitled Noragami Aragoto, it was broadcast from October 2 to December 25, 2015. In the United States, the anime is licensed by FUNimation, which simulcasts the series in the original version with English subtitles13,14. No plans for a DVD release or dubbing have yet been announced.

The opening theme song for season one was “Goya no Machiawase” (午夜の待ち合わせ, Overnight Appointment), performed by Hello Sleepwalkers. The ending theme song was “Heart Realize” (ハートリアライズ, Hāto Riaraizu) with composition by Supercell and performed by Tia. As for the second season, Noragami Aragoto, the opening theme song asw “Kyōran Hey Kids!!” (狂乱 Hey Kids!!) by The Oral Cigarettes, and the ending theme song was “Nirvana” (ニルバナ, Nirubana) by Tia.

Now, it’s been seven years since we’ve last seen a proper season of Noragami and we don’t really know anything about the show’s future. Having said that, Noragami is popular enough to merit a return so we’re hopeful that the show will return sooner rather than later. Be that as it may, the anime series definitely isn’t finished, not even close, but we don’t know whether we are, actually, going to see all of the manga in an anime format.
